Merit Construction

During the summer of 2020, I was commissioned by Merit Construction to design and paint a mural for their upcoming market campaign. After consulting with the client, I developed a design that fit what they were looking for. In conjunction with the execution of the project, Merit also shot a marketing campaign video featuring the mural I created.

Here’s what Merit had to say about the project:

“In our 63 years of business, we have found that while the nature of our work is constructing buildings, these establishments build relationships and experiences. The bonds individuals create as they interact within and around these buildings are the foundation for a community. The same can be said for the Tacoma Dome — a building that has brought people together and inspired hope and unity throughout the South Sound since its inception.

When we built the Tacoma Dome in 1983, creating a place that fostered community was at the forefront of our minds, and this still stands true for us today; our desire to inspire hope and unity within our communities matters now more than ever. To capture this message, this Fall we are launching our newest campaign, ‘Build What Matters’. “
